Owen Pappoe has been one of the most sought after recruits in the class of 2019 as he's ranked the No. 5 overall recruit by the 247Sports Composite Rankings. He mentioned earlier in the summer that he has a secret top three schools and two of them were reportedly Florida State and Clemson.
While he still won't reveal what his top three schools are right now, he did tell Gridiron Now that he is coming close to ending his recruitment.
"Right now I'm in the process of ending my recruitment. I do have favorites and there are three schools I'm deciding from — but I'm not going to name them right now."
The 6'0", 207-pound Pappoe has 40 offers to play his college football including some from Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Auburn, Miami, Michigan, Notre Dame and Ohio State among others. The Grayson High School (Ga.) product is ranked as the top outside linebacker in the class and the No. 2 recruit in the state of Georgia behind receiver Jadon Haselwood.
