The video quality may be poor on this one, but you don’t need Ultra-HD to see why five-star running back Cam Akers is one of the top recruits in the country.

Akers, of the Clinton Arrows out of Mississippi, takes the ball right and he has some open field before he is met by a defender around the 40 yard line. Akers — with his 5-foot-11, 213 pound frame — didn’t try to go around the defender; instead, he tried to go through him, knocking the poor defender’s helmet off during the process.

Poor kid had no idea what was coming.

Akers is the No. 2 running back in the 2017 recruiting class. The former Alabama commit is currently expected to land at either Ole Miss or Ohio State.
