Five-star USC commit could potentially flip to one of two teams

He has publicly been a soft commit to USC.

USC commit Stephen Carr has been very open about his commitment to USC, and he acknowledged that as he visited other schools this year. However, with National Signing Day coming soon, Carr admits that he is down to three teams for his recruitment.

"It is USC, Oregon and UCLA," Carr told Scout in a recent interview. "That's it."

Carr (6-foot-0, 202 pounds, Fontana, Ca.) is rated as the No. 3 running back by the 247Sports Composite, which also has him rated as a five-star recruit. He is one of the most prolific recruits on the west coast, and it looks like he will be staying there for his collegiate career.

As of now, most people expect Carr to stick with his commitment and stay with USC. However, he does have an upcoming visit to Oregon coming up, and new head coach Willie Taggart will have an opportunity to sell Carr on the program.
