Former Florida CB J.C. Jackson has transferred to this school

J.C. Jackson was a four-star cornerback as a high school prospect in 2014.

Former four-star cornerback recruit and Florida Gator cornerback has found his new school. Jackson was dismissed from the Florida football team after he was charged with four first-degree felonies following his involvement with an armed robbery in April of 2015. On Sunday, 247Sports' Ryan Bartow reported that Jackson has transferred to Maryland, and he will be on campus in College Park on Tuesday.

"Jackson is projection to start for the Terrapins at one cornerback spot." Bartow reports. "He will be among the most talented players on Maryland's roster and is an instant impact talent at a position of immediate need, potentially starting across from all-conference senior William Likely."

Jackson was recruited by current Terps head coach D.J. Durkin, who was Will Muschamp's defensive coordinator in 2014 when both of them were on Florida's coaching staff.
