Former Tennessee star Jalen Hurd set to visit major football powerhouse

Hurd was Tennessee's leading rusher in 2015.

Well this could get interesting in a hurry.

Per 11warriors.com, former Tennesseee running back Jalen Hurd is set to take a visit to Ohio State this weekend. The report comes after Hurd took a visit to Cal last week.

Hurd made the decision to transfer in the middle of Tennessee's season, leaving the Vols team after a disappointing start to the 2016 season. Hurd was expected to be one of the SEC's leading rushers after going for over 1,200 yards in the 2015 season, but that never materialized as Tennessee fell to a relatively disappointing 9-4 record in 2016.

It is expected that Hurd will have to sit out a season before being eligible to play again at the D-I level.
