ESPN's No. 4 WR Brian Hightower announces his commitment

Hightower is a Top 50 recruit in the country.

It may be early in the 2018 recruiting cycle, but yet another one of the top recruits has already made a tentative decision.

On Wednesday night, four-star wide-receiver Brian Hightower (6-foot-3, 202 pounds, Bradenton, Fla.) announced that he had committed to Miami.

Hightower is rated as the No. 4 wide receiver in the country by ESPN, and as the No. 6 wide receiver by the 247Sports Composite. He is rated as a Top 50 overall recruit by both services.

With Hightower's commitment, Miami now has the No. 1 recruiting class in the nation at 247Sports. Penn State had been the long-time leader in that category, but now it looks like it is Mark Richt and the Hurricanes' time at the top.
