No. 6 safety Bubba Bolden spurns Ohio State with commitment at Army All-American Bowl

This was a bit of a surprise!

Several players from the fabled Bishop Gorman High School in Nevada — including five-star quarterback Tate Martell — are heading to Ohio State. On Saturday, Bubba Bolden bucked that trend.

Bolden (6-foot-3, 190 pounds, Las Vegas, Nev.) is a four-star safety, and at Saturday's Army All-American Bowl, he spurned the Buckeyes in favor of USC.

Bolden is another huge pickup for USC, and their class has been on the rise in the past few weeks with commits from guys like five-star running back Stephen Carr. They now have 17 total commits in their 2017 class, and they rank first out of all teams in the Pac-12.
