Four-star Michigan RB A.J. Dillon has shockingly flipped his commitment

Dillon is the No. 1 recruit in Massachusetts.

It looks like the No. 1 recruit out of Massachusetts has had second thoughts about attending Michigan.

In a recruiting shocker, four-star running back A.J. Dillon (6-foot-1, 230 pounds, Groton, Ma.) flipped his commitment from Michigan on Wednesday, as it now looks like Dillon will be staying home to attend Boston College.

Dillon is now Boston College's top-rated commitment for the 2017 class by a large margin.

The flip comes after Dillon took official visits to both Michigan and Boston College in the past two weeks, and it looks like the Eagles were able to make a late push to win his commitment.

"I believe the Boston College program is on the rise and I feel like there is something to be said about being from here, and being part this movement," Dillon said in a statement.

Boston College now has 18 commits in their 2017 class.
