Four-star OL Jake Moretti just shockingly flipped away from Ohio State

He had been committed to Ohio State since July.

A recruit flipping away from Ohio State isn't too surprising; they get so many guys that a recruit is bound to change his mind at some point.

You usually don't see a recruiting upset like this involving Ohio State, though.

Four-star offensive tackle Jake Moretti (6-foot-5, 285 pounds, Arvada, CO) is ranked as a Top 100 recruit in the nation according to both Rivals and 247Sports. He had been committed to the Buckeyes since July, but on Thursday, Moretti decommitted from Ohio State and announced his commitment to Colorado.

Colorado is already having their best season on the field in years, and now they are definitely starting to pick up a lot of steam in recruiting. Moretti is Colorado's top-ranked commit of their 2017 class, which currently has 22 members. That group also includes four-star wide receiver KD Nixon, who decommitted from Tennessee earlier in the year to commit to the Buffaloes.

Colorado now has the 19th ranked class in the nation, per 247Sports.
