Four-star RB drops top 12 list despite no offers from a third of the teams on it

That is one way to get schools to recruit you.

It's not uncommon for recruits to drop a top schools list on Twitter, but it is a little odd when they do it and don't have the an offer from one of those schools. In the case of four-star running back Master Teague he actually had four schools he likes that have not offered him:

The 5'11", 210-pound running back out of Murfreesboro, Tenn. is rated as the No. 10 recruit in the state of Tennessee and the No. 18 running back in the country according to 247Sports Composite Rankings. While he does have some great offers already, those four he really wants are the big dogs and might be coming soon if his visit to Clemson hints at anything. He met with the running backs coach there and was told that the only reason he doesn't have an offer is because the class is likely going to be small.

"He said he wants to get to know us. There are four guys he's looking at, and he wants to go to each of their spring practices. He said he'll come to one of my spring practices so he can see how I run and how I move. He said if he likes what he sees that he could offer. He was just telling us that he believes God will lead the right player to him."

I'm not sure Urban Meyer or Nick Saban operate quite the same way, but if Clemson extends an offer then there's a good chance Ohio State and Alabama will follow suit.

Here are some of his highlights:
