Kwantel Raines is a four-star safety recruit in the class of 2018. After chopping his down list to eight awhile back, he is now cutting it down again to only six schools. He took to Twitter to announce his decision:
He said in the tweet:
“This is in no way a reflection of any deficiencies to any of the other programs im still open to any new opportunities if given. I would just like to narrow my list down to these few schools so I could focus more on just my senior year. I will be committing some time in October.”
The 6’2″, 195-pound safety out of Pennsylvania is ranked as the No. 18 safety in the class and No. 7 recruit in the state by ESPN. He has Florida, Maryland, Penn State, South Carolina, Kentucky and West Virginia on his now-narrowed down list. Raines also has offers from LSU, Louisville, Michigan State, TCU, Wisconsin and N.C. State among others.
