It appears that four-star wide receiver Nico Collins (6-foot-5, 195 pounds, Pinson, Ala.) is nearing a decision.

In an interview with AL.com on Friday, Collins revealed that the top four teams for his recruitment are Michigan, Alabama, Georgia, and LSU. Collins mentioned in that interview that LSU was really coming after him hard recently, and it looks like that may be paying off for the Tigers. NOLA.com is now reporting that Collins took a surprise visit to LSU this weekend.

Collins said that LSU wanted him to take one more unofficial visit before he made a decision, and it looks like he obliged them. Collins has already taken officials to Michigan and LSU, and he has one planned for Georgia later this month.

Collins is one of the top uncommitted wide receivers of the 2017 class. He is a consensus four-star recruit.
