Chip Kelly is still unemployed, and there could be a long list of suitors in college football after this season.

Kelly has been rumored for several offensive coordinator positions in the NFL, but he's yet to find a landing spot. Fox Sports columnist Stewart Mandel speculated that if Kelly doesn't find a position for next season, he could become an analyst for a year like Urban Meyer did after he "retired" from Florida in 2011.
Mandel also said Kelly could be an offensive analyst and at a school like Jeff Tedford was at Washington last season before he took the Fresno State job. There are several high profile jobs that could become available in college next season, and Mandel mentioned Notre Dame, Texas A&M, Tennessee, UCLA and Auburn.
"It would have to be an awfully special job — Notre Dame? — for Kelly to accept it without knowing what else might come open at season's end," Mandel wrote. "And with potential openings at that school, Texas A&M, UCLA, Tennessee, Arizona State and Auburn, there could be a lot of spots to choose from come December."
It could be interesting to see Kelly on TV for a year if he isn't hired, and he almost assuredly will have a head coaching gig lined up for the 2018 season in college if he's available.
