High schoool cheerleaders display most insensitive sign possibly ever seen

This is absolutely unbelievable.

The Greenfield-McClain Tigers and Hillsboro Indians in Ohio were playing each other under the lights on Friday night. The Indians were the hosts for this game, which makes this whole story even worse. The Tigers cheerleaders brought one of, if not the most, insensitive sign I have possibly ever seen and it looks like this:

So not only was this sign approved by adults for them to make it, but they brought it to an away game where there were Indians fans.

For some context on the Trail of Tears, then-President Andrew Jackson signed the Indian Removal Act of 1830, which forcibly evicted all Native American tribes from their land east of the Mississippi. The tribes were forced to walk thousands of miles to a newly designated "Indian Territory" west of the Missisippi River. Historians say about one in four Cherokee Indians died on the difficult journey, which the Cherokees named the Trail of Tears.

Hillsboro and Greenfield are rural cities east of Cincinnati and it looks like history is not a subject taught there, or at least very well.
