Iowa knocks off No. 3 Michigan after controversial penalty gives Hawkeyes edge

Oh boy...

This one is going to be talked about for a while.

After Iowa threw what appeared to be a game-clinching pick, the Hawkeyes were about to force quick a three-and-out to get to a Michigan punt. On the ensuing return, a penalty was called for a Michigan facemask on Iowa returner Desmond King, and not everyone agreed that it was a facemask.

Nevertheless, the penalty gave Iowa an extra 15-yards and easily allowed them into field goal range. The Hawkeyes were able to make the field goal, giving them the 14-13 lead for the win.

Expect chaos in the next College Football Playoff rankings, as the No. 2 Clemson and No. 4 Washington also lost earlier in the day.
