Son of four-time Pro Bowler could delay college decision and may have a surprise team still in contention for him

This prospect is already in the process of changing his mind.

Four-star cornerback Jaycee Horn was expected to decide between South Carolina and Alabama on July 15, but he is now considering delaying his decision due to another school entering conversation.

Horn, who is the son of four-time Pro Bowl receiver Joe Horn, told Rivals that Tennessee is "on me hard right now," and he is considering visiting Knoxville on July 20.

Horn said it's "kind of 50-50" on whether he commits on July 15 like he originally planned, but if he does then it will be between South Carolina and Alabama. If he chooses to delay his decision, that likely means Tennessee is in the mix as well.

Horn said he will continue to take visits to schools regardless if he's committed to a school or not.

He said Tennessee didn't stop recruiting him after he narrowed his list down to two, and he said his best relationship with a head coach is with Tennessee's Butch Jones.

"There wasn't really no, 'Why'd you eliminate us?' It was just really, 'We're going to keep coming no matter,' and that's what I really liked," Horn said. "Some schools, they hit me up saying, 'What's up? Why'd you eliminate us?' and stuff like that. But Tennessee, there wasn't really no sob story. They were just telling me they're going to keep recruiting, and that's what they've been doing."

The 6-foot, 174-pound prospect from Alpharetta, Georgia is the No. 23 cornerback in the Class of 2018 according to 247Sports. He is the No. 22 player from the state of Georgie, and the 247Sports Crystal Ball projects him to commit to South Carolina.
