Jim Harbaugh kept quite busy during Michigan's bye week

Jim Harbaugh had an eventful Friday night.

With the Michigan Wolverines enjoying a well-deserved bye week, the great majority of the football roster took the opportunity to catch up on some rest. However, head coach Jim Harbaugh doesn't necessarily appear capable of shutting it down for any length of time, and that was on full display on Friday night.

We already knew that Harbaugh was planning to take in a football game on Friday, as he visited the nation's top overall recruit, Najee Harris, on his school's Homecoming weekend. Still, Harbaugh went above and beyond during his visit to Antioch High School, including the fact that he agreed to announce the school's Homecoming Queen.

From there, Harbaugh wasn't done, as he added pearls of wisdom concerning an unexpected power outage at the school's football stadium.

It remains to be seen as to what kind of impact an in-person visit from Harbaugh could have on Harris and his collegiate destination. At the moment, the five-star running back is committed to Alabama (for more than a year) and, with the Crimson Tide rolling as the number one team in college football, it certainly would not be a surprise to see Harris enroll in Tuscaloosa.

Jim Harbaugh isn't backing down, though, and he's willing to do just about anything to make a positive impression.
