LSU player throws his own school under the bus, later apologizes

Looks like some LSU players were upset about yesterday's move.

LSU fired wide receivers coach Dameyune Craig on Thursday, and players on the team were quick to voice their displeasure at the dismissal of the coach.

One of those players was wide receiver Dee Anderson, who tweeted and then later deleted this message after the firing was made public. (via NOLA.com)

"Taking one of the best coaches off the staff?[?] stupid asf to me."

Anderson wasn't the only player that was upset about the move, as NOLA.com captured tweets from several players that were not happy about the move. Craig, who has generally been a top recruiter in his time as an assistant, was potentially let go after LSU missed on a couple of top targets on National Signing Day.

Anderson later apologized, calling the comment "out of line".

Craig wasn't the only coach affected by Thursday's moves, as running backs coach Jabbar Juluke was also "reassigned" to a position within the school's athletic department. LSU has yet to announce any replacement for the two coaches.
