Nike gives Ohio State commit the highest rating at The Opening

J.K. Dobbins committed to Ohio State in March.

Ohio State running back commit JK Dobbins (5-foot-9, 199 pounds, La Grange, Tx.) has just earned the highest rating at Nike's The Opening in Beaverton, Ore. The competition has five categories - the 40-yard dash, vertical, peak power, agility and power ball — Nike compiles the scores at every event and awards the top performer in all five categories.

That isn't even the best part though — Dobbins received the award from former OSU and current Dallas Cowboys rookie back Ezekiel Elliot, who was in attendance at the first day of The Opening.

Dobbins scored in the 99th percentile for all five categories of the competiiton. He verbally committed to Ohio State in March of this year.
