College football analyst has a bold prediction on Alabama “walking on” Florida State

This is certainly a bold prediction.

The hype for the 2017 season opener between Alabama and Florida State has been building for months and kick-off is nearly here. By this point, most experts across the college football landscape have weighed in with something approaching a prediction and, for the most part, the consensus has been that the Crimson Tide and Seminoles will engage in a close-fought battle.

With that said, one expert doesn't see it that way and, in fact, predicts Alabama to "walk on" Florida State by a big margin.

Russ Mitchell of College Football News brings the bold prediction of a double-digit win for the Crimson Tide and he'll certainly receive a reaction as a result. Alabama is seen as the favorite, both by Las Vegas and otherwise, but Florida State is a (very) talented group under Jimbo Fisher and they are certainly a threat to the Tide if things go well in Mercedes-Benz stadium.

With Nick Saban at the helm, Alabama is basically favored in any spot, even at a neutral site. Still, it takes some level of moxie to predict a walk-over victory against a consensus top-five team and this analyst is certainly stepping out on a limb. Still, it wouldn't be that much of a surprise if the Tide rolled through Atlanta to a breezy victory so he might look wise after all.
