On Tuesday, four-star safety Quindarious Monday (6-foot-3, 175 pounds, Atlanta, Ga.) announced on Twitter that he had committed to Auburn.
Auburn had been considered the leader for Monday for quite some time, and Monday made it official by picking the Tigers over Georgia, Georgia Tech, Tennessee, Florida State, Florida, and Clemson.
Monday is classified as an athlete on 247Sports, but he is expected to play safety at the next level. However, as their rankings are now, Monday ranks as the No. 9 athlete in the 2018 recruiting class.
Auburn now has eight commitments for the 2018 class, with Monday now ranking as their second highest-rated recruit.
