Recruiting powerhouse loses CB days after picking up a five-star commitment

This came out nowhere.

Four-star defensive back Isaiah Bolden has decommitted from the Florida State Seminoles and immediately flipped to the rising Oregon Ducks with new head coach Willie Taggart.

Bolden announced his huge decision to decommit from the Noles via Twitter:

This was very surprising, as Bolden had been committed to the Noles for almost a year prior to this decision.

According to SB Nation's Tomahawk Nation, the Noles getting five-star cornerback Anthony Lytton's commitment was probably a factor in his decision.

Via Tomahawk Nation:

"Five-star cornerback Anthony Lytton's recent commitment more than likely played a role in Bolden's flip. In Florida State's 2018 recruiting class, there remain two blue-chip cornerbacks in Lytton and Asante Samuel Jr —- so there is nothing to worry about regarding recruiting depth at that position. The class, with the loss of Bolden, fell to No. 6 nationally according to 247."

Bolden still hasn't signed anywhere yet, so there is still a possibility he winds up in Tallahassee, but it's not looking good.

247sports has Bolden's Crystal Ball Predictions saying he has a 60 percent chance of going to Oregon and 40 percent chance of going to Florida State.
