Four-star LB Salua Masina names an eclectic four teams as his finalists

His brothers play at one of the four finalists.

Four-star linebacker Salua Masina has trimmed his list of schools down to four, and he plans to visit each school before making a decision.

Masina has narrowed his list down to Utah, Vanderbilt, UCLA and Cal. He said on Twitter that he doesn't have an order for the four schools.

Though he didn't list an order, Utah is presumed to be the favorite considering his two older brothers — Lo'i and Uaea — both play for the Utes.

He discussed his connection with all four schools to 247Sports.

"Utah was the first to offer me and has been recruiting me since my freshman year, so it would be way cool to be a hometown hero," Masina said. "Vanderbilt showed a lot of interest in me and it definitely would be a new experience playing there.

"Cal Berkeley has also showed a lot of interest and you can never go wrong with living in California. And with UCLA I like what coach (Scott) White has been doing over there with not only the linebackers, but the program."

The 6'3, 205-pound prospect from Salt Lake City is the No. 6 player from the state of Utah and No. 22 outside linebacker according to 247Sports.
