No. 2 OLB Adam Anderson expected to pick between two teams on Thursday

Anderson most recently decommitted from LSU.

Four-star linebacker Adam Anderson (6-foot-4, 214 pounds, Rome, Ga.) is one of the top recruits of the 2018 class, as he is ranked as the No. 2 outside linebacker in the nation by the 247Sports Composite.

On Wednesday, Anderson announced that his commitment would be "coming out soon" with the expectation that he will pick between Georgia and Alabama.

Jeff Sentell of Dawg Nation reported that Anderson is expected to announce his decision "some time on Thursday evening". Thursday is Anderson's birthday.

Anderson has had a long whirlwind of a recruitment after originally committing to Georgia last year. Anderson later flipped his commitment in April, announcing to pledge to LSU. Just three months after that, though, Anderson announced his decommit from the Tigers, with Georgia and Alabama being seen as the top two teams ever since.

247 has Anderson as the No. 44 overall recruit in the country for 2018, which puts him on the cusp of being ranked as a five-star recruit. Five-star recruits are generally around the Top 30 in the class every year.
