Alabama embarrassment of recruiting riches guarantees another top class

This is just ridiculous.

Alabama has been the most dominant recruiting force in the country under Nick Saban and that trend is continuing for the class of 2017. It's the top ranked recruiting class so far for the year and is tied for the largest with 26 total commits. However, that's not the most impressive part of this class.

And just like the tweet says, the Crimson Tide has more top-level recruits than Florida has in total. And Georgia also joins that club since five-star safety DeAngelo Gibbs committed to the Bulldogs, putting them at 16 recruits in the ESPN 300.

Jim McElwain clearly has some work to do while Georgia coach Kirby Smart has been phenomenal picking up 18 players who are four or five-star players. Meanwhile, the rest of the SEC East has 20 of those recruits combined. It might be fair to say that Georgia will be favorites in the division very soon.
