Is Alabama scared of Washington?

Alabama and Washington will meet in a College Football Playoff game in the Peach Bowl on New Year's Eve. That leaves both teams plenty of time to game plan and look at the past year at what kind of plays each team was running.

According to a coaching source connection to Seattle sports talk personality Dave Mahler, Alabama has ordered tape of every game that Petersen has coached over the last eight seasons, whether it be at Washington or Boise State, and the staff will be charting every trick play.

It sounds like the Alabama staff might be incredibly paranoid about what the Huskies might pull out of their backpocket in the game. Some might call it paranoia, but Nick Saban would surely call it being prepared because he doesn't want to turn out to be 2007 Oklahoma:

So maybe being prepared for that isn't the worst thing Alabama can do with all that free time.
