Alabama's off season losses continue as a top recruit decommits

Well, the Tide have a way of recovering.

Man, has Alabama suffered a string of bad news since they lost that heart breaker to Clemson. The team has lost two assistant coaches and could be on the verge of losing a third, and now comes bad news from the recruiting trail.

It would be easy to dismiss Brandon Ruiz's decommitment as no big deal because he's rated as a three-star  prospect. But, per 247 Sports, he's the No. 2 rated kicker in the country. If he does go elsewhere, that's a loss for the Tide program, especially since Ruiz was placekicker of the year and a first-team high school All-American.

Still, this isn't anything the Tide can't weather. They have the No. 1 recruiting class in the country in 2017.
