ESPN analyst questions Alabama, doesn't seem sold on what Alabama has accomplished

ESPN college football analyst Heather Dinich joined Paul Finebaum Wednesday to discuss the latest playoff rankings. Dinich seems to begrudgingly tell Finebaum she does believe Alabama to be the number one team, but then she goes on to question what Alabama has actually accomplished this season. Dinich calls out what has been a mediocre year in the SEC, but then parlays that into a statement questioning if Alabama is really as good as they seem.

Never mind talking about how dominate Alabama's defense has been or how Alabama has been beating teams, just a blanket statement suggestion Alabama might not be as good as they are.

Dinich's comments created somewhat of a firestorm on twitter, sparked by comments from long time Alabama sports writer Cecil Hurt.

Hurt's comments created a great deal of backlash from Dinich's fellow writers and Hurst even acknowledged he spoke out of passion, but he did own up to it.

Odds are just about every Alabama fan feels the same way as Hurt. Hopefully the Crimson Tide will prove it on the field and prove all of these doubters wrong.
