Gore announced via Twitter and Instagram he is transferring to Louisiana-Monroe.

Gore will have to sit out the 2017 season, and he has two years of eligibility remaining. Gore carried the ball 24 times for 108 yards and a touchdown in two seasons with the Tide. Alabama has Bo Scarbrough, Damien Harris and Joshua Jacobs returning next season, and they will also add five-star running back Najee Harris.
