During an appearance on the Rich Eisen Show, Klatt basically said Kiffin was fired by Saban before Monday's national championship game.

While the exact details of Kiffin's departure will likely never be known — unless Kiffin writes a tell-all book one day — it's becoming increasingly apparent Kiffin was not give a choice in coaching in the title game.
