Alabama’s defense delivered another convincing performance Saturday in the Tide’s 51-3 victory over Mississippi State. The Bulldogs never stood any chance against the Alabama defense, which again looked like the best defensive unit in all of college football.

Alabama’s defense had an all around great day, the Tide defensive front continuously hounded Mississippi State quarterback Nick Fitzgerald, pounding him repeatedly while also holding State to under 100-yards rushing.

Tide defensive lineman Jonathan Allen delivered the biggest hit of the day at the expense of Fitzgerald, who was absolutely crushed on a third-quarter pass attempt.
