Nick Saban responds to Lane Kiffin's "fun" at Alabama comment

Working for Nick Saban might not be fun, but winning certainly is.

Fun isn't a word that comes to mind when you think of Nick Saban. You'd be hard-pressed to find more than a couple photos or videos that he's actually smiling in.

At the Peach Bowl's media day on Thursday, Alabama offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin, who was recently hired as Florida Atlantic's new head coach, sort of confirmed the notion.

"Fun?" Kiffin said when asked whether he's had fun with the Tide under Saban. "Yeah. We don't use that word a lot."

The fun part of being at Alabama, Kiffin suggested, was winning, which they did a whole lot of.

On Friday, Saban responded to Kiffin's comments, and took no issue with them, having nothing but kind words to say about his OC.

It hasn't always been smooth sailing between the two, though. They've shared several rather tense moments on the sidelines this season.

But there's no denying how much each has done for the other. Kiffin's helped take the Bama offense to new heights, while Saban has clearly beefed up Kiffin's work history.
