It's never a dull day in the world of recruiting!
Four-star linebacker Quay Walker (6-foot-4, 220 pounds, Cordele, Ga.) has been committed to Alabama for well over a month now, but he caused some commotion this weekend when he announced that he was on a visit in Tallahassee to Florida State.
247Sports was able to confirm that Walker was indeed on a visit at the university, and that Walker and Florida State have remained in contact despite his commitment to Alabama.
It appears that Walker will continue to take advantage of the perks of the recruiting trail until he is ready to sign with a school. He has also taken a recent visit to Auburn, and according to the 247Sports Crystal Ball, Georgia is also a big factor in his recruitment.
Walker is a consensus four-star recruit.
