Alabama has already lost its offensive coordinator in Lane Kiffin and now it looks like the Crimson Tide is set to lose another important piece of its offensive playcalling and recruiting. Wide receivers coach Billy Napier is going to get a promotion as he moves to the West coast.

Napier started out as a graduate assistant at Clemson in 2003 and 2004 before moving on to Fresno State to become the QBs coach and then back to Clemson as a tight ends coach and then QB coach and then offensive coordinator for two seasons (2009-10) with the Tigers. He was then the assistant head coach under Jim McElwain at Colorado State in 2012 before taking a job as the tight ends coach at Florida State for the 2013 season and finally as a receivers coach at Alabama in 2013 until now.
