Alabama coach destroys trophy to show what he thinks of runner-ups

He was on one!

If you think Nick Saban isn't a fan of coming in second, wait until you see what someone on his Alabama Crimson Tide staff did.

Here is video of Scott Cochran, who is the program's strength and conditioning coach, deciding to destroy last season's runner-up trophy:

That guy has been with the Crimson Tide program for a decade. A decade of a man that intense must be something. Then again, Saban isn't exactly known to chat with the boys around the water cooler about the latest episode of New Girl.

You might remember this strength and conditioning coach from a previous hit of his.

This guy must be a real blast at parties.

According to ESPN.com's Alex Scarborough, Cochran will make no less than $600,000 a year. While he seems like a bit of a high-pressure guy, he must be good if that's his price tag. That, or Alabama just makes too much money off the back of unpaid labor.

Obviously, the Crimson Tide are currently gearing up to face the Georgia Bulldogs in the national title game. That's great. It is also too bad, though. Not when the real nation champions have already scheduled their parade and banner hanging festivities. Either way, have fun on Monday.
