With latest decommit, Alabama falls from No. 1 in the recruiting rankings

They'll get it back soon enough I imagine.

Alabama has been at the top of Scout's recruiting rankings for a long time now, but suffered a little setback with the latest decommitment from four-star defensive back Jhavonte Dean. That loss was enough to slide the Crimson Tide down a spot behind growing recruiting rival in Georgia.

The two schools have been competing for a ton of recruits lately and Kirby Smart is owning recruit in the SEC East right now. The race for the top spot is likely going to come down to a few recruits flipping or unexpectedly signing with either of them on National Signing Day in February.
