6'5" Florida State standout makes graduate transfer decision to rising SEC power

Huge move for the SEC.

Wilson Bell played his high school football in Mobile (Ala.) and many believed that the talented offensive lineman would spend the duration of his college football career as a member of the Auburn Tigers. However, years after choosing Florida State over Auburn and others, the graduate transfer made a decision this week to take his talents back to his home state in an effort to finish his career in orange and blue.

Keith Niebuhr of 247Sports brings word of Bell's decision to transfer "home" to Auburn and this is a huge pick-up for the Tigers. Over the last two seasons in Tallahassee, the 6'5, 320-pound offensive lineman started 19 games for the Seminoles at the guard position and he is one of the more proven options available for a program that was in search of an impact player on the interior of its offensive line.

Because Bell is set to graduate from Florida State this spring, he will be immediately eligible as a graduate transfer and that paints a rosy picture for Auburn in 2017. The Tigers aren't without holes on their roster but, with an upgrade up front, the pundits predicting big things from Gus Malzahn's team in the very near future.
