Auburn defender lays the hit of the year by piledriving ball-carrier into the ground

This was brutal.

The Peach Bowl matchup between UCF and Auburn had everything that a New Year's Day bowl game should bring to the table. While the action was certainly exciting in a number of ways, a crazy hit took place early in the fourth quarter that brought some divisiveness to the table.

With UCF leading 27-20 and less than ten minutes remaining in the closing period, running back Adrian Killins Jr. took the ball and was met by Auburn defensive lineman Derrick Brown. From there, it turned into a full-fledged pile-driver on the part of Brown.

Fortunately, Killins Jr. was okay after the hit and the talented sophomore from Daytona Beach (who had some interesting comments in Auburn's direction before kick-off) exceeded 100 yards on the ground in the game. Brown was not flagged on the play, to the dismay of the UCF faithful, but the "tackle" certainly provided some reaction on both sides.
