Calvin Ashley is a five-star offensive tackle originally out of Florida, but moved to D.C. for his senior season. He’s considered the No. 30 recruit overall in the 2017 class and the No. 6 offensive tackle.

He had been an Auburn commit since 2015, but there was some doubt as to if he would stick with the Tigers since the Maryland Terrapins were making such a strong push for him to stay up north. He made his intentions clear and one of those fan bases can breathe a sigh of relief.

The 6’6″, 310-pound behemoth was crystal balled to Florida State at 60 percent with the Terps, Florida and Auburn gaining some votes as well. He also had offers from Alabama, Clemson, Louisville, Miami, Michigan and Ohio State among others.
