It wasn’t to win the game like Ricardo Louis’s catch was a couple of years ago against Georgia, but Jason Smith helped Auburn get a touchdown against the Crimson Tide defense with this spectacular catch.

Quarterback Jeremy Johnson, who had just missed an open receiver on the previous play, threw a bullet here that Smith was able to tip up over the Alabama defenders and then catch, allowing him to get into the end zone for 77-yard touchdown.

The touchdown pulled Auburn within six points of the Crimson Tide with four minutes remaining in the third quarter.
