Auburn dismisses former four-star WR from team

That came suddenly.

Auburn was already having a bad week after blowing a 20-point lead to LSU, but it seems it's getting worse. Coach Gus Malzahn revealed that former four-star receiver Kyle Davis has been dismissed from the team.

Davis did not make the trip to LSU on Saturday and didn't practice last week either according to AL.com. He was also suspended for the season opener along with missing all of spring practice for undisclosed reasons.

Davis was the third-leading receiver on the team with 210 yards on seven catches and no touchdowns. He was the No. 10 receiver in the class of 2016 according to 247Sports. He chose the Tigers over Georgia, Tennessee and Alabama among others.
