According to the Auburn Plainsman, four-star Auburn commit Richard Jibunor (6-foot-4, 212 pounds, Athens, Ga.) was arrested on Sunday morning in Athens, Ga. for driving under the influence (DUI).

The Athens-Clarke County website also lists Jibunor, 18, as being charged with failure to maintain lane/improper driving on the road. The three charges added up to a $2,000 bond, which as been posted according to the records.

All the charges against Jibunor are misdemeanors.

For what it's worth, Jibunor appeared to tweet about the arrest earlier today.

Don't let yourself be defined by your mistakes from the past, and always remember that it's only a fool who looks at his mistakes and laughs at it instead of learning from it. LORD GOD ALMIGHTY, I'll always worship you in every circumstance. Let your name be forever praised.??

Jibunor, a four-star linebacker, committed to Auburn in November, but he did not sign during the early signing period. However, there is no indicated that Jibunor will flip between now and the regular signing period that starts in February.

Auburn has yet to comment on the arrest. They play in the Peach Bowl against UCF on Monday in Atlanta.
