Well this is a major shakeup in recruiting!

Four-star running back Fabian Franklin (5-foot-11, 200 pounds, Hattiesburg, MS) had offers from schools like Alabama and Georgia, but on Wednesday, Franklin announced that he had committed to SEC rivals Mississippi State.

Franklin, rated as a four-star by ESPN, also had offers from TCU, Michigan, and Tennessee.

With Franklin, Mississippi State now has 19 commitments for their 2018 recruiting class, as head coach Dan Mullen and crew have been putting in a lot of work on the recruiting trail. Of the 19 commits, Franklin is one of three four-stars for the Bulldogs.

Mississippi State now ranks in the Top 25 of the recruiting rankings over at 247Sports.
