Florida's greatest weapon is coming back for a senior season

That's some great news!

Florida football's best weapon was certainly not on offense as the quarterbacks struggled all season and the offense was rated as one of the worst in the country. It was ranked 116th out of 128 schools and averaged a measly 344 yards of offense all year.

The defense was obviously one of the best units in the country being ranked as No. 5 in total defense and No. 6 in scoring defense allowing only 16.8 points per game. However, the player that got Florida out of most of its jams was none other than its punter Johnny Townsend. And now he's coming back for another season:

He led the nation in average yards per punt at 47.89 and had 3,065 total yards punting. He somehow wasn't named a Ray Guy Award (given out to the nation's top punter) finalist despite that average and the fact that he consistently flipped the field for a good defense and terrible offense.
