Florida has reportedly reached out to three candidates 'to gauge interest' for head coaching job

These look like good choices.

The Florida Gators are in the middle of a head coaching search and they have reportedly have reached out to three candidates. They have reportedly reached out to "gauge interest" for each of the candidates and they are all names that Florida fans are probably going to like:

Interestingly enough, only one of those coaches is actively coaching in Charlie Strong who's at USF. Kelly last coached college football in 2012 for Oregon while Bob Stoops retired from Oklahoma just before this season. Stoops has ties to Florida as he was an assistant under Steve Spurrier before taking over for the Sooners while Strong was the defensive coordinator under Urban Meyer and was even an interim head coach at one point. Kelly has no known ties to the program, but is an exciting name that fans would certainly like to see roaming the sidelines.
