Malik Zaire announces his official transfer destination

And now it is officially official.

People have been wondering what Malik Zaire would do for many months now since he decided to become a graduate transfer and leave Notre Dame. There was a flurry of speculation about which schools he might land at, but Florida ended up becoming the main suspect. However, the graduate transfer rules set down by the SEC wouldn't let him land there until that was changed during the SEC Meetings earlier this month. Now he's made his transfer destination official:

Zaire only has one year of eligibility so it's being assumed that he will be the starting quarterback for the Gators since he has the most experience. He also has a proven track record for the most part. Also, the last time the Gators had a lefty leading the team under center good things happened for them so that has to mean something, right?

Zaire finished his Fighting Irish career with 816 passing yards and six touchdowns against no interceptions. He also ran for 324 yards and two touchdowns in his time there.
