NCAA decision finally made on ineligible four-star WR James Robinson

This was a whirlwind experience.

Former four-star receiver James Robinson initially wasn't going to sign with anyone on National Signing Day because of a citation for possession of marijuana he received while visiting Ohio State's campus. He wanted to sign with Florida on NSD, but the administration originally blocked him from doing so. He ended up with Florida, but the NCAA still had not academically cleared him, until now.

Robinson was the No. 14 receiver in the country and No. 21 recruit in the state of Florida for the 2017 class according to 247Sports. The 6'4", 205-pound Lakeland native will be able to suit up for the Gators and should be a huge help and target to whoever ends up winning the starting quarterback job.
