Florida reportedly making huge apparel switch for next year

This would be pretty big.

Florida has been a Nike school for as long as fans can remember and now they are going to move away from that according to a report from Alligator Army. The site also points out this blurry photo taken of what is believed to be the video board at The Swamp.

There are also a couple of tweets that might lead some to believe the change is taking change four-star commit Dameon Pierce tweeted this:

The source that Alligator Army spoke to told them back in November that the switch is expected to take place for the 2018 season for the football and basketball teams. Should the change take place it would mean that Florida would become the first SEC school to rock Jordan apparel, even before a basketball powerhouse like Kentucky.

Jordan already has a presence in the Big Ten, Big 12, Big East and ACC (with his alma mater UNC). Michigan recently made the switch from adidas to Jordan so Florida making a similar move shouldn't be all that surprising.
