USA Today analyst says the team with the most 'gifted, talented player' will win the national title

But who has the most talented player?

USA Today analyst Dan Wolken was on the Finebaum show and he made a strong prediction for who he believes will win the National Championship this season. While it wasn't too bold to say that the team with the best player will win, some people might be surprised that the best player he lists isn't Oklahoma's Baker Mayfield.

While it's not out of the realm of possibility for Georgia to win the whole thing, they will have to stop the juggernaut offense that has been the Sooners this season. The Rose Bowl will likely be a contest of the immovable object (Georgia's defense) against the unstoppable force (Oklahoma's offense) and whoever can take advantage of the other's weakness will likely win this game.

Chubb has rushed for 1,175 yards on the season to go with 13 touchdowns. Georgia is also No. 4 in total defense, allowing under 271 total yards per game. Meanwhile, Mayfield averages 350 yards of offense by himself each game so that's going to be a fun matchup to watch.

The game is set for a 5:00 p.m. kickoff on Jan 1. as part of the New Year's Six bowl games.
