Five-star defensive end Nolan Smith has been committed to Georgia since late January of this year, but it’s starting to sound like he isn’t too sure about the verbal commitment now. In an interview with 247Sports he initially said he was solid with the Bulldogs, but when he was asked a second time about it, he seemed to completely backtrack on it.

“It is still open,” Smith said. “I am still visiting other schools and everything like that.”

The 6’3″, 223-pound weak side defensive end playing for IMG Academy in Florida is ranked as the No. 3 player in the entire country by the 247Sports Composite Rankings and the No. 2 player at his position.
